libfreeimage-dev software package provides Support library for graphics image formats (development files), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfreeimage-dev
libfreeimage-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfreeimage-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfreeimage-dev *
You will get with libfreeimage-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
